Webflow: add LiveChat to your site

Connect LiveChat with Webflow to improve your customer service and make it easier for your customers to reach you. A state-of-the-art chat widget will enhance your website and visitors will be able to talk to you on social media and messaging channels.

Navigate to the LiveChat app in the Webflow marketplace.

Select Add to site.

Select the store(s) to add LiveChat to, then click Authorise App to confirm.

Create a LiveChat account or log in with existing credentials.

Switch the toggle for every website on which you want to display the chat widget.

Republish your site to complete installation. Select Go to Webflow to do so.

Click Publish in the upper right corner, then select Publish to selected domains to show up display the chat widget.

That’s it! From now on, your Webflow websites will display a chat widget! To answer chats you can use one of our apps, web, desktop or mobile

To include the chat on multiple websites, enable the Chat Enabled option for each one. If you manage different brands, customize chat widgets separately for each brand. Check out LiveChat groups to learn how.

If you want to manually add LiveChat code to your Webflow-based site, follow the steps below:

  1. First, log into your Webflow dashboard and go to your wesbite’s settings page.

  1. Next, click Custom Code button.

Click Custom Code

  1. Place your LiveChat tracking code right before the closing body tag.

Paste LiveChat tracking code into Footer

Get your LiveChat tracking code from Settings > Installation > My website section of your LiveChat!

  1. To finalize, save changes and publish your site for changes to take effect.

Publish your website
